Hulk Is Killed By Wolverine
This is one of the most brutal and heartbreaking moments in Wolverine's story. In Old Man Logan, Wolverine has tried to live a peaceful life after a tragedy that made him renounce violence. But when the Hulk Gang – a twisted offspring of Bruce Banner – shows up, they take everything from him, including his family. It pushes Logan past the point of no return.
Fueled by an all-consuming grief, Wolverine embarks on a path of revenge. His plan is shockingly straightforward: he’s going to kill every last one of the Hulks. Wolverine, a character who's spent years honing his skills and developing a level of self-control, is now solely driven by vengeance. His trademark claws are unleashed with pure rage, and Logan begins cutting his way through the Hulk family one by one. Each encounter is more brutal than the last, with Wolverine mercilessly tearing through the twisted gang.
The sheer savagery of his actions reflects the depth of his loss. Logan’s heartbreak and fury fuel him to become the predator he once swore he’d never be again. When he finally confronts the elder Hulk himself, Banner is waiting. What follows is a final showdown between two of Marvel's most iconic characters, pitting Hulk's sheer brute strength against Wolverine's relentless, grief-driven resolve. This is Wolverine at his most raw and relentless, driven not by duty but by a personal vendetta for his lost loved ones, making this one of the most intense, violent, and emotional battles in Marvel history.
But the problem there is that The Hulk kinda laughs at these sorts of plans, so he just grabs Logan and eats him whole.
However, he may have wanted to at least chew first since, ya know, immortal regenerative abilities make something of a mockery of digestive systems. So really all Hulk manages to accomplish with this gambit is making Logan somehow angrier. And Logan expresses this anger the only way he really knows how: by slicing open Hulk's stomach from the inside, killing the monster instantly, and crawling his way back out.
A gruesome end to a truly gruesome comic.
